Some background to The Organic Brewhouse
Established in April 2000, The Organic Brewhouse was the first brewery in Britain to brew solely organic real ales.
Situated on the unspoilt Lizard Peninsula,
it is the most southerly brewery on the uk mainland.
The Organic Brewhouse has been pretty much my whole life since 2000. As I am not only the brewer, but also responsible for deliveries, orders, new development, cleaning, administration etc etc. you can appreciate it's pretty much a 7 day week - it is very rare that I'm doing anything that isn't connected with the Brewhouse.
Despite this level of involvement, I fully enjoy producing the beers that I have described on this website, and people from as far away as Scotland who have regularly sampled my produce give me the kind of positive feedback that keeps me developing The Organic Brewhouse and its wares.
In a time when so many beers are mass produced and of an acquired taste, {some may even say lacking in character}, I like to think that I am one of a band of small independent brewers in Cornwall who give you, the Customer, an alternative choice and a chance to taste beer how it used to be made, before mass commercialisation took over.
There are many unique attractions around the site including, Goonhilly Earth staion and
the Bonython Wind Farm.
THE BREWERY USES IT'S OWN SUPPLY OF BORE HOLE WATER FOR IT'S BREWING LIQUOR. (THE MAIN INGREDIENT OF ALL BEERS.)
